I couldn’t be more excited to be working for the Peace & Justice Center staff as the Director of Operations! Prior to joining the staff, I was a regular volunteer in the store for years, and after working as the Store Manager, I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to deepen my involvement with this fantastic organization and work for equity, peace and justice.
Born and raised in Utah, I came to Vermont in 2017 to study US History at the University of Vermont, where I earned my master’s degree in 2019. Throughout my college years, both in Utah and in Vermont, I was heavily involved in LGBT+ activism, racial justice work, and interfaith activism, and I knew that I needed to get involved with the Peace & Justice Center as soon as I was able to do so when I arrived in Burlington. Volunteering for this organization has taught me so much, and I am grateful for the continuing opportunity to share that experience with new volunteers, allied groups, and community members.
In my free time, you can find me playing guitar, hiking, knitting, reading, cycling, hanging out with my friends, or wandering the shores of Lake Champlain looking to catch a glimpse of the elusive Champ.
